Corporations lie at the heart of the commercial world. As projects get more complex and demanding, so do business structures. I have experience in corporate law, from simple corporate housekeeping (drafting of minutes of meetings, corporate policies) to complex M&A transactions, shareholder agreements and complex projects for international corporate development.
As transactions become more globalized than ever, bilingual documents or the need to localize or translate content lies at the heart of every project. I have experience in the translation, editing, post-editing and proofreading of legal, financial, business and technical documents and can offer certified translations of documents from English and/or German to Greek and the outbound (Greek to English). I can also perform compatibility check of foreign legal documents (e.g. agreements) to Greek law. I hold the SDL Trados 2021 license and I am certified to use CAT Tools to help manage the translation projects.
Projects and collaborations are becoming more demanding than ever, with the need for legal advise in the stage of drafting or negotiation, being more necessary than ever. Having served as both an in-house attorney and external legal advisor, I have experience in drafting and negotiating all kinds of contractual documents (from simple NDA agreements to complex project financing documents).
I am a lawyer, member of Athens Bar Association and licensed to represent clients before the Court of Appeals. I have studied Law in Democritus University of Thrace and hold a master’s degree from the Athens Law School of National Kapodistrian University of Athens, an LL.M. from UCL in London and a Master of Arts in Translation from Hellenic American University. I have advised clients for more than a decade both as an in-house attorney and as member of several law firms in Athens, specialising in commercial and corporate transactions. I was a Stagiare at the European Court of Justice for a four month traineeship. Moreover, I specialize in the translation, post editing, editing and proofreading of documents from English and German to Greek and Greek to English. I hold the SDL Trados 2019 Certifications (Beginner and Intermediary) and have experience with the use of CAT Tools.
